Travis Henderson

Travis Henderson serves as the Director of Procurement Services & Materials Management at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since October 2017, overseeing various operational areas including Purchasing, Surplus Property, Asset Management, eProcurement, Travel Services, and Payment Card Services. Prior to this role, from May 2005 to October 2017, Travis held multiple leadership positions at Lenovo, including Senior Manager of General Procurement, where responsibilities encompassed managing global category teams and strategic sourcing initiatives. Earlier career experience includes several roles at IBM from February 1998 to May 2005, focusing on customer fulfillment and project management, as well as an Industrial Engineering Co-Op position at Baxter Healthcare from 1995 to 1997. Travis holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, completed in 1997.
