Dan Bayer

Graduate Teaching Assistant at UNCG

Dan Bayer is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in communication, education, and community advocacy. Currently serving as a Research Fellow at the Alfred and Anita Schnog Family Foundation, Dan focuses on creating instructional materials inspired by Holocaust survivor stories to engage students. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), Dan develops curriculum for first-generation college students, while also coordinating support services. Previous roles include Communication Director at the Piedmont Blues Preservation Society and Communication Associate at Down Home NC, where Dan led significant outreach efforts during the 2020 election. Dan has a strong educational background, holding a bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from UNCG and an associate degree in Photographic Technology from Randolph Community College.
