Clay Simmons

Clay Simmons serves as the Vice President and Chief Integrity Officer at the University of North Texas since August 2018, where responsibilities include designing and implementing a university-wide compliance and ethics program, managing a team of eleven, and reporting to the Board of Regents. Previously, Clay held the position of Chief Compliance Officer at Oregon State University, leading the formal compliance program and coordinating risk mitigation activities. Additional experience includes roles as Deputy Director at the University of Texas at Austin, Management Advisor at Texas A&M University, and Program Manager for the Homeland Security Program at Texas Engineering Extension Service. Clay's career began as a Senior Internal Auditor for the Texas A&M University System. Clay holds an MBA in Finance from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, a JD from The University of Texas School of Law, and a BBA in Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
