Kate Garry

Kate Garry currently serves as the Executive Director of Academic Communications at the University of Notre Dame, where responsibilities include directing strategic communications and marketing efforts to highlight research strengths and global initiatives while coordinating academic communicators across campus. Previously, Kate held the position of Director at the College of Arts and Letters Office of Communications, developing and executing the College's strategic communications plan. Earlier roles at the University of Notre Dame include Assistant Director and Interim Director within the College of Arts and Letters, alongside experience as Communications Director for the American Heart Association and as a journalist with WSEC-TV and The News-Gazette. Kate holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Richmond and an M.A. in Public Affairs Reporting from the University of Illinois Springfield.
