Abi Hunt

Abi Hunt is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in archaeology and education. Currently serving as a Professor of Practice and Director of Digital and Distance Learning Programmes at the University of Nottingham, Abi fosters industry partnerships to enhance work integrated learning. As Chair of the Board of Trustees for The Enabled Archaeology Foundation, Abi has established the charity's international reputation, promoting accessibility in archaeology for disabled individuals. Additional roles include advising on the Lost Manors Project, leading Degree Apprenticeship development at University Centre Peterborough, and participation in various councils and academic committees. Abi holds multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD in History from the University of Lincoln.
