Chris Birchall

Chris Birchall is an experienced education and employability professional currently serving as the Education and Student Experience Manager at the University of Nottingham since June 2016. In this role, Chris delivers and plans events for engineering students, offers one-to-one CV support, and contributes to the central skills program. Previous positions include the Employability Education Projects Officer, Widening Participation Partnerships Officer, and School Liaison for External Relations and Diversity, focusing on student placements and educational outreach. Chris also worked as an Associate Researcher at Bridge Group, promoting social equality through research, and served as a Teaching Fellow at the University of Warwick. Prior experience includes instructing and assessing laboratory technician apprentices at Loughborough College. Chris holds a PhD and an MSci in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham.
