David Dickerson

David Dickerson, LMSW, is an experienced social work professional currently serving as the Social Simulation Program Administrator and Instructor at the University of Oklahoma. In this role, David manages simulation operations and facilities for client interactions with social work and medical students, as well as social service agency professionals, addressing critical scenarios such as home safety assessments and suicide screening. Previous roles include Director of Operations at Diversion Hub, where David supported the mission of aiding justice-involved individuals in Oklahoma City, and Admissions Policy Research Associate at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, focused on equity in admissions standards. David has also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant, Administrator for the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, and held leadership positions in the US Army and US Navy.
