Scott Sorg

Scott Sorg is an experienced professional in business development and partnerships, currently serving as an Intermediate Specialist at the University of Ottawa since June 2015. In this role, Scott develops and manages COOP recruitment relationships within the IT public sector, ensuring high-quality work placements for students across multiple programs. Previously, Scott held the position of Business Development Manager and Employer & Student Liaison at York University from October 2005 to May 2015, where responsibilities included developing recruiter relationships, advising students on finance careers, and managing the York University Internship Program. Prior experience as an Investment Fund Analyst at AIM Trimark Investments involved product management, compliance monitoring, competitor analysis, and sales communication.
