Sara Bernardini

Sara Bernardini is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, particularly in autonomous systems. Currently serving as a Full Professor at both the University of Oxford and Sapienza Università di Roma, as well as holding roles at The Alan Turing Institute and the National Oceanography Centre, Sara has contributed significantly to the fields of automated planning, scheduling, intelligent autonomy, and knowledge representation. A former Senior Lecturer at Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Visiting Scientist at MIT's CSAIL, Sara has also engaged in research at NASA Ames Research Center focusing on automated planning and execution. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Università di Trento and a Master's Degree from Sapienza Università di Roma, Sara has a robust academic foundation complemented by various research fellowships and contributions to significant projects aimed at enhancing interactive capabilities and operational efficiency in complex environments.
