Greg Bowman is currently the Louis Heyman University Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this, Greg Bowman co-founded Decrypt Biomedicine in June 2022 and served as a Professor at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis from July 2014 to June 2022. Academic experience also includes a role as a Miller Research Fellow at UC Berkeley from August 2011 to June 2014, focusing on modeling protein dynamics and their interactions through theory and simulation. Earlier, Greg Bowman completed a PhD in Biophysics at Stanford University from 2006 to 2010, where research centered on large-scale computer simulations of protein folding, and earned a BS in Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University in 2006. Greg Bowman's early research experience includes an internship at the U.S. Naval Medical Research Institute in 2004.
