Kari holds a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, obtained between 2011 and 2015. Additionally, Kari earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology from Oregon Health & Science University from 2005 to 2007 and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Cultural Anthropology from Reed College.
