Matthew Redinger

Provost & VP for Academic Affairs at UNIVERSITY OF PROVIDENCE

Dr. Matthew Redinger is a Montana native, born and raised, and was educated at Carroll College (Helena) and the University of Montana (Missoula) before earning his Ph.D. at the University of Washington. His areas of academic specialization are Modern Latin American History, the United States in the 20th Century, and US-Latin American Relations. He served as a Full Professor of History from 1993-2012 when he assumed responsibilities as Vice Provost for Academic Affairs at Montana State University Billings. In 2018, he moved to Great Falls, Montana to assume responsibilities as Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs and Professor of History at the University of Providence.
