Federica Frabetti

Federica Frabetti is an Associate Professor at the University of Roehampton since September 2016, serving as the Programme Convener for the BA Digital Media and focusing on research interests in Critical AI studies, critical data studies, software studies, cultural studies, and digital humanities. Prior to this role, Frabetti was a Senior Lecturer in Communication, Media, and Culture at Oxford Brookes University from September 2009 to August 2016, and an Associate Lecturer at Goldsmiths, University of London from September 2007 to August 2010. Frabetti's earlier career includes positions as an ICT Consultant, Business Programme Manager at Siemens, Senior Software Development Engineer at Italtel, and Software Engineer at Etnoteam. Frabetti holds a Ph.D. and a Master by Research in Media and Communication from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in Lettere Classiche from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
