Amber Kaplanis

Amber Kaplanis currently serves as the Director of Development in University Advancement at the University of San Diego, a position held since July 2017, where responsibilities include cultivating relationships with alumni, parents, friends, and corporate partners while managing donor portfolios and meeting coordination for the Board of Advisors. Previous roles at the University of San Diego include Development Manager for the Knauss School of Business and Development Executive Assistant II for the Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science, where event coordination and donor data management were key functions. Prior to her tenure at the University of San Diego, Amber held positions as Development Manager at the American Lung Association and Catering Event Sales Manager at Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, as well as various roles in hospitality and event management. Amber’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations & Communications from the University of Idaho and studies at Griffith University.
