Jill Ballard

Jill Ballard is an experienced instructional designer and AI lead at the University of San Francisco since December 2017, where responsibilities include designing professional development in AI literacy and coaching course design for online and hybrid learning. Previously, Jill served as an adjunct instructor at Merritt College, teaching courses on hybrid and online course facilitation. Jill also held the position of Graduate EAP Faculty and Curriculum Manager at the Academy of Art University, where a high-intermediate English composition curriculum was developed and taught. Other notable experiences encompass roles in design management at Pacific Growth Equities and KPMG, as well as freelance graphic design work across various industries. Jill holds multiple degrees, including an MA in English from San Francisco State University and a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
