Samuel Bethel

Samuel Bethel is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as the Digital Communications Manager at the University of San Francisco since February 2017, Bethel leads university-wide communications efforts aimed at engaging 80,000 alumni, 10,000 students, and 3,000 staff members, with a strong focus on event registration and email marketing. Prior to this role, Bethel held positions at the University of Oregon, where responsibilities included coordinating communication initiatives as an Institutional Relations Specialist and developing marketing campaigns. Additional experience includes positions at Portland State University and International Experience (iE) - USA, complemented by a Master of Arts in Professional Communication from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Oregon.
