Shawn Dillard

Shawn Dillard is an experienced professional in international education and cultural programming, currently serving as the Program Director for Short-term Programs and Immersions at the University of San Francisco since August 2023. As a co-founder of Africa Our Home since September 2015, Shawn Dillard has focused on developing cultural and educational exchange programs in West Africa. Previous roles include Assistant Director and Interim Director at the University of South Alabama's Office of International Education and Study Abroad, and Country Director for ProWorld Ghana at Intrax, where management of various internship and volunteer programs was a key responsibility. Shawn Dillard also has experience in research and community organization, with contributions to environmental health, sanitation policy research, and community park development. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree from UCLA and a Master’s from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
