Akindele Odeshi, PhD, P.Eng. FEC, serves as the Associate Dean Academic at USask College of Engineering since January 2022 and has been a faculty member at the University of Saskatchewan since July 2008, progressing from Assistant Professor to Professor. Prior to joining the University of Saskatchewan, Akindele Odeshi held positions including Visiting Professor at Howard University and Research Associate/Instructor at the University of Manitoba. Academic research and teaching have been key components of Akindele Odeshi's career, which began with doctoral studies at Technische Universität Chemnitz, culminating in a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering. Additionally, Akindele Odeshi earned a Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Akure.
