Kelly Epting

Kelly Epting, CPA MBA, serves as the Associate Vice President for Finance and Budget at the University of South Carolina since July 2008 and also holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at the South Carolina Research Foundation. Epting previously directed finance and accounting for the Office of the Vice President for Research and managed state and private budgets for the Darla Moore School of Business. Prior experience includes managing funds and staff in the School of Medicine's Department of Neuropsychiatry and performing budget and grant analyses at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Epting's auditing background includes roles as a Senior Auditor and Staff Auditor at Deloitte. Epting holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Furman University and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of South Carolina.
