Chet Barney

Chet Barney is a Professor of Business Management at the University of South Dakota, where a promotion to full professor occurred in 2013 after serving as a tenured Associate Professor of Management. Chet's academic career began with an Assistant Professorship at New Mexico State University from 2008 to 2013, concurrent with the attainment of a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior - Management. Previous professional experience includes roles as an Information Systems Administrator at the Institute of Emergency Services & Homeland Security, an Adjunct Professor at Utah Valley University, and a Training Analyst at Open Solutions. Chet also held the position of Professional in Residence at Southern Utah University. Chet holds a Master's degree in Information Systems Management from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems from Utah State University.
