Nathan Steussy

Nathan Steussy has extensive experience in student affairs and community engagement, currently serving as a Police Officer and Residence Hall Director at the University of South Dakota since May 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing an apartment-style residence hall, training resident assistants, and managing crisis situations. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Student Conduct Officer and Graduate Assistant for the Community Engagement Office at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where Nathan focused on student conduct, educational experiences, and volunteer coordination. Earlier roles at Iowa State University as a Community Adviser and Undergraduate Computer Science Teaching Assistant involved fostering inclusive communities and teaching programming concepts. Nathan holds a Master of Science in Counseling & Student Personnel from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Iowa State University.
