Graeme Hornby

Graeme Hornby currently serves as Training Manager at GRID3 and as a Senior Enterprise Fellow and GIS Research Analyst and Trainer at the University of Southampton, contributing to the development of geospatial technologies aimed at supporting low- and middle-income countries in achieving high-resolution population data for the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Graeme has a robust background in GIS, having previously held positions as GIS Consultant at ABP Marine Environmental Research Ltd and GIS Analyst at Nautica Environmental Associates, where expertise in environmental projects was developed. Additionally, Graeme possesses experience in e-learning design from Epic Multimedia PLC and has engaged in freelance environmental education projects in Oman and the UAE. Graeme holds degrees in International Relations with Development Studies from the University of Sussex, a Postgraduate Certificate in Geographical Information Systems from the University of Leeds, and a Dip(HE) in Design Studies with Computer Aided Design from London Metropolitan University.
