Karen Wyatt

Karen Wyatt is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in event management and social media strategy. Currently serving as the Communications and Events Manager at the University of Southampton since September 2018, Karen previously held multiple roles at B&Q, including Social Media Campaign Specialist and Communications and Engagement Lead, from March 2012 to September 2018. Prior experience includes managing communications at Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust and stakeholder management at the Office for National Statistics. Karen started a career in public relations as a PR Account Manager at hopwood public relations & marketing communications from November 2007 to March 2010. Karen holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Nottingham Trent University, earned from 2001 to 2005.
