Richard Strange

Richard Strange has extensive experience in digital information and technology leadership, currently serving as the Chief Digital Information Officer at the University of Southampton since November 2024. Prior roles include CDIO at the University of the West of England and Transformation Director for Technology and Digital at Aster Group UK, where Richard oversaw digital transformation for a significant property portfolio. Richard's background includes senior IT roles at Sunseeker International, Invensys Rail, and Westinghouse Rail Systems, demonstrating expertise in IT operations, service delivery, and infrastructure management. Richard holds an MBA from the University of Bath and a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Technology from the University of Portsmouth, alongside a BTEC National Diploma in Business and Finance with high distinctions.
