Tapas Mishra

Tapas Mishra is a Professor of Banking and Finance at the University of Southampton since October 2014, where responsibilities include serving as the Head of Banking and Finance and Director of Empirical Research in Finance and Banking. With previous roles as an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Southampton and Associate Professor of Economics at Swansea University, Tapas Mishra has led innovative educational and research initiatives. Earlier academic positions included Assistant Professor in Economics at the University of Wales, Swansea, and roles at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis and the Institute for Futures Studies. Tapas Mishra holds a PhD from Université catholique de Louvain, along with multiple degrees in economics and econometrics from esteemed institutions.
