Tia Thorp

Tia Thorp is a seasoned marketing professional currently serving as the Marketing Manager for Research and Enterprise at the University of Southampton since September 2023. Previously, Tia held various positions at Dorset Mind from April 2021 to September 2023, including Head of Quality and CYP Service Development and Children and Young People Services Manager. Prior experience at BH Live spanned over a decade, where Tia advanced from Marketing Assistant to Events & Hospitality Product Marketing Manager, focusing on the development and execution of marketing strategies and multi-channel campaigns to boost ticket sales and brand awareness. Tia's early career included roles as a reporter for The Bournemouth Daily Echo and Advertiser and Times, as well as a researcher for BBC Radio 5 Live. Tia holds a Level 5 qualification in Operations or Departmental Management from Locomotivation and a BA in Multimedia Journalism from Bournemouth University.
