Zoe Yao

Zoe Yao is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international recruitment and partnerships, currently serving as the Regional Head of International Recruitment & Partnerships at the University of Southampton since April 2006. In this role, Zoe Yao develops and implements recruitment strategies for East Asia markets, manages performance and budgets, and oversees the university's international representative network. Prior to this position, Zoe Yao worked as a Marketing & Liaison Officer at MacGorman Associates Ltd, where responsibilities included researching sector-specific reports and expanding the company's network. Earlier experience includes a Sales & Marketing Internship at Ameco Beijing. Zoe Yao holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from KU Leuven, completed between 2002 and 2004.
