Ray Sun is an electrical engineering student at the University of Southern California. Ray has experience working with FPGA firmware, designing wireless controllers, and conducting electrical subsystem testing. Ray also has experience in modeling powertrains and designing CAN transceivers. As a SmallSats Student Team Member, Ray worked on the development and testing of CubeSats. As an Undergraduate Researcher, Ray worked on the development of a MEMS gyroscope.

Ray Sun received their Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California. Ray also holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Caltech and a High School Diploma from Damien High School. In addition, they are certified by the Federal Communications Commission in General Class Amateur Radio License.
