Fabrizio Carmignani

Fabrizio Carmignani serves as the Head of the Business School and Dean of Business at the University of Southern Queensland since January 2014, while also holding the position of Professor of Economics. His prior roles include serving as Dean (Academic) at Griffith Business School and Professor of Economics at Griffith University from July 2017 to September 2023, and Professor of Economics at The University of Queensland from January 2009 to April 2012. Fabrizio Carmignani began his career as an Economist at the United Nations from November 2002 to December 2008. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from the University of Glasgow, a Research Doctorate in Economics from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Glasgow, and a Laurea in Economics from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
