John Dennehy

John Dennehy is an experienced professional in the field of exercise physiology and health services, currently serving as Chair of the headspace Toowoomba Consortium and Director at The BMC Group. John's roles include General Manager Projects and Partnerships at Focused on Care, and Sessional Lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland. As the Owner and Exercise Physiologist at Better Movement Clinic, John has extensive hands-on experience. Previous contributions include committee membership with Exercise & Sports Science Australia, representing rural interests, and leadership roles such as Chair of the Queensland State Chapter of the National Rural Health Alliance. John holds multiple degrees, including a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Advanced Research in Exercise Physiology from the University of Southern Queensland, as well as a Graduate Diploma and Bachelor degrees from James Cook University.
