Catherine McMillan

Catherine McMillan serves as the Deputy Director of Information Services and Head of IT Services at the University of Strathclyde, a position held since January 2009. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Director of Information Services (Technical Services) at the same institution, Deputy Director of C&IT Services at Edinburgh Napier University from November 2003 to December 2008, and IT Project Manager/Solutions Architect at SAIC UK Ltd/Calanais Ltd from October 2000 to November 2002. Catherine's career began at Scottish Power Limited, where roles included IT Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Information Systems Engineer from July 1991 to October 2000. Academically, Catherine holds an MSc with Distinction in Advanced Computer Systems Development from the University of the West of Scotland, an HNC in Business Administration, and a BSc with Honours in Applied Physics from the University of Strathclyde.
