Peter Jamieson

Peter Jamieson is a seasoned professional in the wind energy sector with over four decades of experience. Currently serving as a Senior Technology Advisor at the University of Strathclyde since October 2009, Peter provides expertise in PhD research and supervision within the Centre for Doctoral Training in Wind Energy, which is the largest center of its kind globally. As a Principal Engineer at Garrad Hassan & Partners Limited, Peter has played a pivotal role in developing innovative wind energy technologies, and as a Senior Engineer at James Howden & Company Limited, Peter contributed to the design of wind turbines, significantly influencing early projects like a 26 MW wind farm in California. Peter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Maths and Physics from Glasgow University, completed in 1970.
