Bill Thompson

Bill Thompson is a seasoned sound artist and composer with extensive experience in sound art, experimental music, and installation art. Currently serving as a Senior Teaching Fellow at the University of Surrey, Bill lectures on composition, improvisation, and technology while managing the BMus (Hons.) in Creative Music Technology. Bill's freelance work includes delivering music projects in Scotland and developing workshops focused on sound art. Educational credentials include a PhD in Music Composition from the University of Aberdeen and a Level 7 Diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentoring. Throughout a diverse career, Bill has contributed to several academic institutions and community projects, highlighting a commitment to music education and creativity.
