Stephen Woods

Stephen Woods serves as the Head of the Department of People and Organisations at the University of Surrey since June 2022. Woods is also the Director and Founder of Aston Business Assessments Ltd, a position held since 2011. Previously, Woods was a Professor of Organisational Behaviour and HRM and Associate Dean of MBA Programmes at the University of Liverpool from October 2019 to June 2022 and a Professor of Work and Organizational Psychology at the University of Surrey from August 2014 to October 2019. Woods's earlier academic roles include Reader of Work and Organizational Psychology at Aston University from 2007 to 2014. Educationally, Woods earned a PhD in Psychology from the University of Surrey, an MSc in Occupational Psychology from the University of Nottingham, and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Wolverhampton.
