Amy Persson

Amy Persson is an experienced leader in social justice and inclusion, currently serving as Pro Vice Chancellor at the University of Technology Sydney and Head of Government Affairs and External Engagement since August 2020. Recently, Amy took a brief leave from UTS to work as Chief of Staff for Minister Jackson in the NSW Government from April to October 2023. Previous roles include Executive Director at the Department of Premier and Cabinet (NSW) from 2012 to 2020, where Amy oversaw multiple branches, and various advisory positions for significant governmental figures, including the NSW Deputy Premier and Minister for Environment and Climate Change. Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts/Law degree from UNSW.
