Peter Degotardi

Peter Degotardi has extensive experience in cybersecurity and IT security management. Currently serving as the Cybersecurity Governance and Assurance Manager at the University of Technology Sydney since September 2015, Peter has held various leadership roles focused on cybersecurity capability development and IT security strategy. Prior to this, Peter spent nearly two decades at IBM, where responsibilities ranged from managing global incident response for the Computer Security Incident Response Team to overseeing IT security architecture in the A/NZ region. Earlier career roles included network support and server management at Woolworths Limited and the University of Western Sydney. Peter holds a Bachelor of Information Technology with a focus on Information Systems from Charles Sturt University and an Associate Diploma of Business from the Macarthur Institute of Higher Education.
