Simon Terry

Simon Terry is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in industrial design and education. Currently serving as a NSW Council Member at the Design Institute of Australia since November 2024, Simon also holds the position of Studio Manager at Vert Design and works as a Casual Academic at both the University of Technology Sydney and UNSW, teaching courses focused on Sustainable Design Thinking and industry experience. Previously, Simon was a Senior Industrial Design Consultant at People&Things, a Head of Design at Five at Heart, and a Lead Industrial Designer at NorvaNivel, where expertise in design strategy, product innovation, and design management was demonstrated. Simon holds a Bachelor of Industrial Design from the University of Newcastle and an educational background from TAFE NSW.
