Pasha Barahimi is a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems, specializing in model checking since July 2023. University of Tehran, the icon of higher education in Iran, was established in its traditional form seven centuries ago. It was initially founded as a Houza (traditional religious school). In the modern era, the University evolved from its religious structure to a more modern and academic structure of higher education. Dar-ol-Fonoon College was the first engineering school in its modern form which was established about a century ago. University of Tehran in its current form was inaugurated in the winter of 1934.
