Richard M. is an experienced marketing professional currently serving as the Group Manager of Marketing at the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) since December 2016. In this role, Richard M. oversees the planning, development, implementation, and management of both digital and traditional marketing strategies for UCC and its affiliated companies. Richard M. has also held various positions within UCC, including Digital and Social Media Manager, where oversight of digital marketing efforts began, and previously served as Marketing Executive and Marketing Officer, focusing on online presence and content creation. Additionally, Richard M. has experience as a Digital Marketing Consultant with JPS & Partners Co-operative Credit Union and WMW Jamaica, improving campaign performance and client engagement. Richard M. holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Communication from The University of the West Indies, a Certificate in Supervisory Management, and an MBA in Marketing from UCC.

The University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) is Jamaica’s largest, fastest-growing, non-affiliated private institution of higher education, and is now one of five higher education entities with the accolade of institutional accreditation from the University Council of Jamaica. UCC is also institutionally accredited internationally by the UK-based Accreditation Service for Independent Colleges and Universities. UCC is headquartered in Kingston, Jamaica, with five physical campuses and UCC Online. UCC was formed in 2004, as a result of a merger in 2002 of the Institute of Management Sciences, which was incorporated in 1992, and the Institute of Management and Production, which was incorporated in 1976.
