Whitney Fordham has a diverse work experience spanning over two companies. Whitney worked at the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) from 2008 to the present, starting as a Front Desk Assistant in Residence Services and progressing to roles such as Student Life Programmer, Coordinator of Housing and Residence Life, Manager of Housing and Residence Life (Acting), Housing Operations Coordinator, Manager of Alumni Relations, and currently serving as the Director of Alumni Engagement and Executive Director of the UFV Alumni Association. Whitney'sresponsibilities at UFV included developing and implementing programs to support students' transition into university life, organizing events, managing volunteer recruitment and training, overseeing campus recreation, and collaborating with other departments. Prior to UFV, Whitney worked at Little Caesars as a Manager from 2002 to 2007.
Whitney Fordham completed a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Victoria from 2014-2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing and Economics from the University of the Fraser Valley from 2004-2009. They also have several additional certifications, including a Not-for-Profit Governance Certificate from Govenance Solutions in 2022, a Hootsuite Platform Certification in 2020, and several certifications in Organizational Best Practices and Blackbaud technologies. Additionally, they obtained a Level I Violence Threat Risk Assessment certification from the Canadian Centre for Threat Assessment & Trauma Response in 2013.
