Catherine Watts

Catherine Watts is an experienced planning and design principal at the University of the Sunshine Coast since June 2022, with a diverse background in architecture and project management. Catherine has been with Procedural, formerly ODS Engineering, since 2009, focusing on developing digital workflows for sustainability objectives for prominent global infrastructure firms. From June 2018 to February 2022, Catherine served as the senior lead facilities technical project manager at Ørsted, where responsibilities included establishing business cases for offshore wind farm facilities. Past roles include architect positions at Sandover Pinder Architects and Woodhead Architects, where Catherine worked on award-winning projects and managed various educational and health-related facilities. Catherine also has experience as a part-time tutor at several universities, including Curtin University, the University of Queensland, and QUT, contributing to architectural education after earning a master's degree in architecture from the University of Queensland.
