Taleya Mayberry-Smith

Taleya Mayberry-Smith currently serves as the Director of Entrepreneurial Programs at The University of Tulsa, a role commenced in January 2024. In addition, Taleya operates as a Sports Analyst for ESPN+, providing color commentary for Tulsa Women's Basketball since November 2021. Previous experience includes multiple positions at ACT House, including Head of Operations and Program Director for ACT Tulsa, from April 2021 to January 2024, along with a tenure at i2E, Inc. as Program Manager for ACT Tulsa. Taleya's coaching experience includes serving as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at The University of Tulsa from August 2018 to April 2021, and as Graduate Assistant Women's Basketball at Oral Roberts University from January 2016 to May 2018. Taleya's professional basketball career included stints in Iceland, Germany, and China. Educational qualifications comprise a Master of Business Administration from Oral Roberts University (2016-2018) and a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Tulsa (2009-2013).
