Michelle McArthur

Michelle McArthur currently serves as Associate Director of Purchasing Services at the University of Victoria since January 2025, following a diverse career in procurement and supply chain management. Prior roles include Manager of Procurement Transformation, Senior Procurement Analyst, and Senior Procurement Officer at BC Transit from February 2020 to January 2025, Contract Manager for Building Operations at The University of British Columbia, and Operations Procurement Professional at Devon Energy. Additional experience includes roles as Buyer at Canadian Natural Resources Limited and Suncor Energy Inc., as well as a Buyer at Enercore Projects Ltd. Michelle holds degrees in Psychology from The University of Lethbridge and General Studies from Mount Royal College, complemented by the Public Sector Procurement Program from The Procurement School.
