At Warwick Simon collaborates closely with regional trusts, charities, and governmental agencies and authorities to implement our Regional Strategy for improving the experiences and opportunities of our students, staff, and local communities. He is also

Vice-President (Research and Higher Education Policy) at the British Academy, where he is helping to defend the health and funding of the UK’s Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences disciplines. He began his academic career at All Souls College, Oxford, and continues to research the legacy of ancient Greece and Rome in the Islamicate empire of the middle ages.
