Axel Schweiger is a Senior Principal Scientist at the Polar Science Center of the University of Washington/Applied Physics Laboratory, a position held since October 1992, where expertise in satellite remote sensing techniques is applied to research Arctic climate variability, with a particular focus on cloud and sea ice interactions.
