Danica Hendrickson serves as the Associate Director for Education and Workforce Engagement at the University of Washington since October 2020. Concurrently, Danica has held multiple roles at the Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee since December 2016, including Program Manager and Program Director of Instruction. Since June 2010, Danica has been a Science & Math Teacher at Rainier Scholars. Danica's previous experience includes serving as Curriculum Director at Facing the Future from January 2014 to July 2016, where responsibilities encompassed developing K-12 global sustainability curriculum and managing a USDA/NIFA-funded project. Danica also worked as a Curriculum Developer at Facing the Future, and taught junior high science at both American Martyrs School and Santa Teresita School from 2000 to 2010. Danica holds a Doctor of Education in Leadership & Innovation from Arizona State University, a Master’s in Mind, Brain, and Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Bachelor of Science in General Science from Seattle University.
