Rodney Worden serves as the Associate Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Facilities at the University of Washington since March 2020, leading a team of 800 employees in world-class maintenance, minor construction, and various services for a vast campus infrastructure. Prior to this role, Rodney Worden was the Director of Maintenance & Construction at the same institution and Director of Public Works for Lake County, overseeing a department of 120 employees. Rodney Worden's extensive experience in the US Navy spanned from 1987 to 2017, holding multiple leadership positions, including Director of Logistics Support and Engineering for the United States Africa Command and Commanding Officer of NAVFAC Midwest. Educational achievements include a Civil Engineering degree from Stanford University, a BSEE from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, an Executive Management Certificate from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, and a Master's in Strategic Studies from the Air Force Staff College.
