Tricia Serio is currently serving as the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and a Professor at the University of Washington since August 2023. Prior to this role, Tricia Serio held multiple positions at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, including Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Associate Chancellor for Strategic Academic Planning, and Dean of the College of Natural Sciences from August 2017 to August 2023. Tricia has also worked as a Professor and Department Head in Molecular and Cellular Biology at The University of Arizona, and has held academic positions at Brown University and Yale University. Tricia Serio earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Lehigh University.
