Robert Jennings

Robert Jennings is the Managing Artistic Director at the University of West Georgia, a position held since July 1996, where oversight includes Arts Programming, Grant Writing, Fundraising, and Personnel Management for the Townsend Center of the Performing Arts. Previous roles include Technical Support Specialist providing IT support and curriculum development for the College of Arts and Sciences, and Adjunct Faculty Instructor in Music Theory and related subjects on a volunteer basis. Jennings served as Minister of Music at Mars Hill Baptist Church from February 1998 to September 2005, and was a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Georgia State University while pursuing a Master's degree in Music. Early career experience includes serving as Director of Bands for the Douglas County School System. Jennings holds a Master of Music in Music Theory and Composition and a Bachelor of Music Education, alongside multiple certifications in venue management and leadership.
