Jim Bogan

Jim Bogan is a seasoned facilities management professional with extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Physical Plant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since January 2003. Bogan oversees a department of approximately 930 employees and an annual budget exceeding $130 million, providing strategic leadership and managing operations, resources, and staff development. Previous roles include Interim Executive Director of Physical Plant and Director of Facilities Management. Bogan also held leadership positions within the Midwest region for APPA: Leadership in Educational Facilities, and served as Central Fleet Supervisor for the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration. An alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Bogan holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Math.
